2024 Election Dates
Friday, September 6, 2024:County boards of elections begin mailing absentee ballots to eligible voters who submitted an absentee ballot request form.
Friday, October 11, 2024:
Voter registration deadline to vote on Election Day*
Thursday, October 17, 2024:
In-person early voting begins; same-day registration and curbside voting available.
Tuesday, October 29, 2024:
Absentee ballot request deadline (5 p.m.)**
Saturday, November 2, 2024:
In-person early voting ends (3 p.m.)
Tuesday, November 5, 2024:
Absentee ballot return deadline (7:30 p.m.)***

*Complete and submit a Voter Registration Form no later than 5:00 PM, October 11th. We strongly recommend returning your completed form to the Pamlico County Board of Elections.; Courthouse, 202 Main St. Bayboro or mail to PO Box 464, Bayboro, NC 28515. Click here for more information.
**A signed and completed Absentee Ballot Request Form must be received by your local county board of elections no later than 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 29th to receive an Absentee Ballot. Return your completed form to PC Board of Elections, deliver by hand to 202 Main St. Bayboro; or mail to PO Box 464, Bayboro, NC 28515. *** Absentee Ballots will be mailed to you by the Pamlico Board of Elections. Your ballot must be received by the Pamlico Board of Elections no later than 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, November 5, 2024. Absentee Ballots can be sent by mail or commercial courier. They may only be hand delivered to open Early Voting sites or your local Board of Elections office.
